I live in Ottawa, Canada and play mainly tenor banjo and fiddle when I'm playing Celtic music. If you are coming to town and want to know about sessions here, get in touch. You might be interested in the sound transmission in buildings pages I created. If you are having problems because of intrusive noise from your neighbours or you want to "soundproof" a room in your house so you can practice without disturbing others, you will find some useful information there. I no longer work in acoustics and I don't maintain the building acoustics pages now.
